How to Propagate Rose from Rose Cuttings

Take a sharp knife and cut a healthy stem or branch from a rose plant. Scrape off 1 to 2 inches of the cuttings at the bottom.  Dip one end of the cutting into rooting hormone, this will help the plant to grow its root faster.

Plant the cuttings into good quality potting soil; add a little sand in the bottom
of the pot for drainage.  You plant the cutting into the pot or directly you can plant into your garden. Once you plant the cutting mist the cutting.

Water them and place them in a shaded spot until the cutting start growing. Once they began to grow place them in a sunny area and water them frequently.
